October 1922 Exhibition at Fine Art Galleries, Melbourne
7 – 19 July 1924 Exhibition of Work by the Younger Group of Australian Artists Anthony Hordern & Sons Gallery, Brickfield Hill, Sydney
Norman Lloyd exhibits one oil painting “The Harbour from Taylor Bay”, with a price of 30 guineas. Other artists in the exhibition include F.Vida Lahey, W. Robb Johnson and M.B. Walker, with an emphasis on Australian landscapes.
Julian Ashton, with whom Norman Lloyd studied after returning from the war, writes in the foreword:
“Age has experience gathered from Life. Youth depends on impulse and the possibility of saying something new. This Exhibition is placed before the public with the hope that what it lacks in experience, is more than atoned for by its sincerity and freshness of outlook. The Exhibitors have had so much pleasure in the production of these examples of painting, sculpture and applied arts, that they are not without hope that if they ask low prices, this pleasure may be shared by others.
Napoleon said that every common soldier had within his knapsack the possible baton of a Marshal of France. Upon these walls hang the works of those, some of whom may possibly become recognised Masters in the Art of this Great Continent.”
26 October – 7 November 1925: The Younger Group of Australian Artists, Second Annual Exhibition of Work Anthony Horderns Art Gallery, Sydney

The work was illustrated in “Art in Australia” 3, No 9, October 1924, page 54. Other artists in the exhibition include Grace Cossington-Smith with the work “Extravaganza”.

April 1929: Solo Exhibition Norman Lloyd Macquarie Galleries, Sydney Norman Lloyd presents
not only Australian landscapes, with impressions from the Hunter
Valley, Sydney Harbour and Bathurst, but also city scapes from Paris
with the Seine, landscapes celebrating the beauty of Tuscany, Venice,
the Garda and Alpine region, but also England and Sri Lanka. The titles
of 36 works almost read like a Grand Tour of a young Australian –
although Norman Lloyd had by this time moved to France permanently and
sent the works back to Australia. 18 June – 2 July 1929: Solo Exhibition Norman Lloyd Fine Art Galleries, 100 Exhibition Street, Melbourne May 1929Selected works shown at the Paris Salon, Société des Artistes Français, "Views of Australia"
